Hear about Standard Life’s journey with Salesforce.com (and CRM as a principle) over multiple years. In this session, Paul will discuss how Salesforce changed over the years in the business, from being seen predominantly as an activity management tool with limited support and no roadmap - to becoming a key technology tool, now at the heart of the business strategy. The discussion will cover adoption challenges and tips, successes and key learns from large Lightning Roll Out experience and future plans to expand into Service Cloud and Einstein Analytics. Heather Black, CEO of Supermums CIC, will be sharing how Coaching skills are invaluable to your salesforce projects, to empower your team and users to achieve success.

Join the session to learn some key coaching tools and techniques that you can apply straight away to your own development as well as to your projects. She will share the difference between coaching and mentoring and how you can apply both in your workplace. Heather is a qualified coach and NLP practitioner and Salesforce professional. She has worked as a coach since 2006 and led a Salesforce Consultancy since 2012. She now empowers other Salesforce professionals by teaching them key consultancy and coaching skills via Supermums.org.

Paul Cathcart

Paul is lead Salesforce.com Consultant / Admin for Standard Life UK Pensions & Savings. His role combines BAU support & configuration changes for the existing Salesforce users alongside providing internal colleagues across the business with consultancy on how best to utilise Salesforce solutions to achieve company priorities. More recent projects include supporting Salesforce integrations with IBM Marketing Cloud, Tableau data visualization tool and a 3rd party ETL data specialist.

Heather Black

Heather empowers people, non-profits, and businesses with Salesforce CRM Technology and Talent. She is an experienced motivational speaker, certified NLP coach, trainer, and 8x certified salesforce consultant. Heather is a serial entrepreneur and leads an award-winning Salesforce Consultancy, Training & Recruitment Agency. As a female entrepreneur and mother, she is a champion for equality and tech for good. She launched Supermums to bring more women into tech and has supported 270+ trainees across 9 countries, engaged 170 volunteers, and provided £390k+ probono hrs to charities. She is listed as 1 of the 100 most influential women in tech & has won or been a finalist for a series of awards. In 2019 she was awarded a coveted Golden Hoodie as a Salesforce Trailblazer.

Leanne Harkin

Leanne is a Director at Purus, a Birmingham based Salesforce Partner. The Salesforce Birmingham Community Group is organised and run by Leanne, and meets on a regular basis for Salesforce Users to share knowledge, learn new skills and network with other users from across the region.
