John Aloy

John Aloy is the Head of Strategic Sales, Public Sector at O2. He is the sales lead for O2 strategic clients in the Public Sector and adjacent markets. He has over 24 years of experience in sales and business development in the telecom and transport industries. He has worked on projects aimed at utilising technology to drive transformation and growth for infrastructure providers in the UK. John is passionate about the opportunities digitisation presents in the positive transformation of society. He has a particular interest in sustainable energy and green alternatives to reduce our impact on the planet while scaling our support for a growing number of citizens and visitors to the UK.

David Green / and Claire Caminade

DAVID GREEN is a Partner at Deloitte UK. He leads cloud consulting in the Telecoms Media and Technology sectors for Deloitte globally helping clients deliver transformation change by using next-generation digital cloud-based technology solutions to drive business competitiveness. He is a multi-disciplined leader with experience in commercial management, sales, marketing, customer services and operations acting both as an advisor and an industry expert within fixed and mobile telecoms markets. Few of his specialities are; next-generation digital architectures, fixed-mobile convergence, new business start-ups, global best practice management. David is a tech enthusiast that enjoys experimenting with emerging technologies. When he is not working, David leads a team of volunteers who make 3D printed prosthetics for children with limb difference.

Robert Franks

Robert Franks is the Managing Director of WM5G. He is currently leading the UK’s first region-wide 5G innovation company in the West Midlands. He has extensive expertise in strategy planning and business process re-engineering for major telecommunication companies. He also has experience in leading and advising start-ups, scale-ups, growth businesses and investors in the technology, media and telecom sectors. Robert is passionate about the opportunity for new technologies to transform the way we live and work.

Bruno Moraes

Bruno is the Country Manager at Wayra UK, working to find great start-ups and connect them to Telefónica. Bruno Moraes has vast experience working as an entrepreneur, investor and working with the telecom’s industry. He has the perfect mix to act as a translator between both corporates and start-ups. Before joining Wayra, Bruno was an entrepreneur for 12 years in the energy and telecom sectors. His latest start-up role was as Co-Founder and COO of Beegol, a start-up that uses machine learning to help telecom companies to improve their broadband and WiFi services. Earlier in his career, Bruno was a management consultant for almost 10 years with McKinsey & Company where he worked in several markets in South America and Europe, which were mostly in the telecom sector.
